Stop Snoring

Snoring is a serious issue. Snoring can seriously affect peoples' quality of sleep and has been known to lead to relationship breakdown and domestic violence.   This is why many people are desperate to stop snoring.

Snoring occurs when the roof of the mouth, and sometimes the base of the tongue as well, starts to vibrate intermittently as a result of excessive turbulence.

Snoring can also be linked to a serious medical condition known as obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). Seek medical advice if you would like to stop snoring and if you think you may suffer from OSA.

To stop snoring is easier than you think. Snoring can be treated in a number of ways. There are only three stop snoring treatments that work for most snorers: Mandibular (jaw) advancement devices, CPAP(Continuous Positive Air Pressure mask and air pump, and Surgery, which can be painful and has a lower success rate than mandibular advancement.

Stop snoring sprays and nasal strips can help some people and are best used in conjuction with one of the three above stop snoring treatments.

Changing your lifestyle (diet, excercise, reduction in alcohol and cigarette smoking) can also help you to stop snoring.
